Hi Guys! Here I would like to share my story and experience during Asian Games 2018 as Volunteer! :)
Asian Games is the 2nd largest sports event in the world after Olympics. This year, Indonesia becoming host of Asian Games for the second time after 1962. INASGOC as the committee needs volunteers to support this big event and I was one of volunteers in sport division. Becoming volunteer in 18th Asian Games 2018, there are so many moments which I can’t get in any other events. I have some unforgettable moments that I want to share.

My first place in Asian Games 2018 was on Wrestling with other 33 volunteers. At the end of the competition on the 3rd day, I met gold medalist of Woman Freestyle 75 kg Qian Zhou from China and asked her to take a picture with me. When I stand beside her, she directly gave her gold medal to me and I was so happy because I could hold gold medal for the first time.
Last day of Wrestling competition, I was a LO for Kyrgyzstan athlete in final round of Greco Roman. I watched his match with Islamic Republic of Iran from beginning. I guess the result wasn't same with his expectation I could see from his face. He got 2nd place which is got silver medal. when he walked away to athlete room. I could see he was crying a little bit and I couldn't do anything because I was afraid if I broke his mood. So I decided to shut my mouth and let him calm himself. After match, he got some times to take a rest and change his cloth. when he took a rest, I still stand near him for reminding to do ceremony. Almost 10 mins before ceremony, I still couldn't remind him because his face still gloomy then committee went to him directly for reminding. I could feel what he felt which is couldn't get the best for the competition. While ceremony, I couldn't let him go, so I was waiting his ceremony till the end.
After ceremony, he looked so confused and I thought he didn't want to do interview with media. That's correct! He went to wrong way after getting his medal, then I ran to get him. I asked him whether he wanted to do interview or not he just kept silent and still walking so I followed behind him. He entered exit door but there was no way to out. There were police officers and some security next that door, so I told them to let him alone and I'd be there to keep him because it was one of my responsibility. He cried and screamed out loud, he was so emotional. I let him to do anything for calming himself. Suddenly he came to me and gave signal to go back to athlete room.

In Athlete room, I met with his team also his brother. His brother told me that he got gold medal in world championship and several competition in the world, but in Asian Games he only got silver. That's why he so emotional and looked so bad at that time. This is unforgettable moment for me because it's not easy to guide athlete who act like that.
It only in Wrestling Competition, I still have so many stories but I will share it next time.
See you Guys!
